Is a senior Aerospace Engineer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He has managed the successful development of several multi-million dollar communications subsystems for multiple spacecraft for various earth and space science missions. He has created initial designs for more than 40 other missions.
Is an Aerospace Engineer leading the Electromagnetic Test Engineering Group at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Overseeing a team of technicians and engineers they ensure spacecraft subsystems can withstand the electromagnetic environment of space. His works has included support of the space shuttle program, instruments for the Hubble Space Telescope, and the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.
Is a Resource Analyst at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Her current assignment is in support of the building and deploying of the next generation of NASA telescope known as the James Webb Space Telescope. She provides financial management support for all aspects of budgeting and accounting with the Flights Program and Projects Directorate at Goddard.
Is a Software Systems Engineer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He shares the responsibility of overseeing the development of the ground communications network for GOES-R, the first of a new line of weather satellites. He is also involved in the agency’s efforts to find, develop, and inspire the next generation of NASA scientists, engineers and professionals.
Is an Aerospace Engineer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. She is currently the Project Manager for the International X-ray Observatory, a facility-class mission under study by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Japanese. An aerospace engineer for more than 30 years, she has worked a variety of missions.
Provides project support for the New Opportunities Office at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Their work is responsible for proposing new projects and missions for Goddard. She is a University of Maryland graduate and in her spare time likes to organize cultural events in the Washington, D.C. area.
Is Manager of the outreach efforts for the Sciences and Exploration Directorate at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He is responsible for creating materials and content explaining the exciting science work underway at the center. Results of the Hubble Space Telescope have also been presented in museum exhibits throughout the country because of his efforts.
Is a Liaison Specialist responsible for connecting with the many organizations onboard NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. She coordinates all services and activities to produce products to communicate to internal and external audiences. It is her responsibility to monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction of service delivery, efforts and effectiveness.
Is an Aerospace Engineer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. His most current work includes engineering support to the Solar Dynamics Observatory, NASA’s latest spacecraft designed to study the sun. While completing a Masters of Science Degree in engineering, he played semi-pro football and worked full time for NASA. He was selected to be interviewed for the most recent astronaut candidate class.
Is a Science Visualizer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. She develops visualization media such as animations, stereoscopic movies, still images for education and public outreach. She collaborates with scientists in the Goddard Scientific Visualization Studio (SVS) to promote a greater understanding of NASA’s Earth and Space science research.
Is a Web Developer and works to display Earth and space science results at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Her work includes contributions to the education and outreach efforts such as the ‘Echo the Bat’ and ‘Amelia the Pigeon’ projects. She currently provides content to the James Webb Space Telescope website and to the Astrophysics Science Division’s Blueshift podcast.
Is a Stay-In-School student at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. She works within the Office of Education providing direct support to many of the interns accepted at Goddard for a summer or year long term. Along with administrative support, she assists students in their adjustment to their assignments. “We work tirelessly throughout the year to support every student ensuring their experience here is an unforgettable one.”
Is a Project Manager within the Management Operations Division at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. She has developed and currently manages a customer service program designed for the more than 125 service areas within Goddard. Those areas include facilities, safety, security, and logistics. Her efforts have led to increased system efficiencies in support of the many research and development missions at Goddard.
Is a Space Scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. His duties include monitoring the atmosphere of solar planets, mainly Mars and Jupiter. “In my work, we continually push the envelope of knowledge for science. This can be trailblazing work for others to follow.”
Is a Customer Service Specialist within the Goddard Customer Service Office. This department is responsible for developing images, graphics and video products explaining the exciting science being accomplished at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. “I enjoyed this past several years of serving our customers needs.”
Is a Communication Systems Engineer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He is the Deputy Communication Systems Lead for the Magnetosphere MultiScale (MMS) spacecraft. He designed and installed a communications relay upgrade in Antarctica which is responsible for returning critical science data from the South Pole. He is the chief architect of a NASA wiki that preserves cross-disciplinary engineering knowledge.
As a Public Affairs Officer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, he engages many types of media to promote the exciting missions and discoveries at Goddard. He has been instrumental in the promotion of NASA’s only Nobel Prize winner, numerous shuttle astronauts, and scientists, engineers and technicians working missions such as the repair of the Hubble Space Telescope. He coordinates the promotion of NASA education programs that have been developed to inspire our next generation of scientists and engineers.
Is a Range Safety Specialist at NASA’s Goddard Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. His responsibilities include safety assurance for all operations aboard the facility. “I love every minute of my work and no one day or mission is the same.” In addition to his range safety duties, he works closely with diversity programs and the Equal Opportunity Programs office for the Wallops Flight Facility.
